I cannot understand why mailing a package form most of the African countries requires just the postage and the recipient say in the USA get the package delivered to their doorstep without taking a trip to the postal office and opening the package and being charged addition money, and yet when it's the reverse you pay postage for the package and are subject to additional charged which includes but not limited to opening the contents of the package??? This is really embarrassing to hear horror stories of countries in that region peddling in such unnecessary standards of practices that creates great distrust in the postal system. The postal Offices need to stop with this unruly behaviour.

I was at the school from 1957 till 1963 when I completed my Senior Cambridge. One of my classmate was late Shrinder Bhandari- other being Amin Kanji. Both Amin and myself got obtained grade 1 in Geography thanks to our teacher, P J Woods. What a school it was. Having completed Architecture in England in 1972 I retu to my home in Dar es Salaam and live a mile and a half from the School. There are just a couple of old faces that I have recognized since my return. The school brings back lovely memories of all the teachers mentioned by Gunvant Patel- although the name does not ring a bell.
