    Spent almost every other afternoon there, 1982-1986. Too young then to enter the "quarterdeck" :)

    Yes me too, in 1982-1986 it was practically the only street in Dar where the lights always functioned and where there were no potholes. Japanese engineers permanently stationed there took care of that.

    Sinza is formed around shekilango road, a main corridor connecting Ali Hassan Mwinyi and Morogoro roads. It is a neighborhood with lots of families, but the main street is lined with some of Dar's most popular local bars and music venues.
